Assistant Professor
Craig was born and raised in Vermillion, South Dakota. He obtained a BS in Biological Sciences at Cornell University before earning a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington. His graduate research was completed at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center under the mentorship of Dr. Adam Geballe. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at Seattle Children's Research Institute and the University of Minnesota before establishing his independent research program in the UMN Department of Pediatrics.
Outside of the lab, Craig enjoys spending time outside growing unusually large pumpkins, kayaking, and fishing.
