October 2023: Dr. Priyanka Gupta joins the lab as a Researcher. 

September 2023: Dr. Bierle receives a Burroughs Wellcome Fund Travel Award to attend the International Federation of Placenta Associations meeting.

January 2023: Jason Hatfield (Comparative and Molecular Biosciences) rotates with and ultimately joins the lab.

August 2022: The Bierle Lab receives its first R01: Trophoblast development and placental susceptibility to cytomegalovirus infection!

July 2022: Tyler Rollman completes both his written and oral preliminary exams!

July 2021: Dr. Bierle received funding from the Congenital and Perinatal Infections Consortium (CPIC) to support a Pilot and Feasibility project.

April 2021: Tyler Rollman joins the team.

October 2020: The lab received a UMN Pediatrics "R" Award. Dr. Bierle is selected to be a Congenital and Perinatal Infections Consortium Scholar.

January 2020: In collaboration with Drs. Vivian Bardwell and Micah Gearhart, the lab received a UMN Masonic Cross-Departmental Grants in Children’s Health Research.

September 2019: Dr. Bierle is selected to participate in the Young Investigator Training Workshop by the Perinatal Research Society/NIH/Abbott Nutrition

August 2019: Dira leaves the lab to start graduate studies in the UMN MICaB program.

March 2019: Dr. Bierle receives a Career Development Workshop Travel Grant, Society for Reproductive Investigation/NIH to attend the SRI Annual Meeting in Paris, France.
